Sales price calculation based on product configurator

Posted on by 515

Hi All,

I want to know how the sales price is getting calculated on sales quotation through product configurator.

I have configured product configuration model with only one attribute as Color and with one BOM line with item having purchase price 12 and cost price 30. Now in sales quotation price is getting calculated as 3 when we run configure line from Product and supply menu on sales quotation line. Kindly let me know how it is calculating price as 3 on cost based pricing.

    Hi Sverre

Is it possible using product configurator to use the cost based pricing method and then use the attribute based calculation on top of the cost, to add some ad on amounts of commissions and margins to reach the sales price

If you have set the Pricing method for your Product model version to be cost based , the sales Price for a configured item is calculated using the standard BOM calculation. The basis for this calculation is the costing sheet and the Cost Price and  Cost group setup for items in the BOM and resources in the route.
