Import Responses in Excel/CVS format - Not Shown in Reports of Customer Voice

Posted on by 689

Hi All.

I have imported records of the following entities of the Customer Voice:

1-CV Survey Response.

2-CV Survey Question Response.

The records were sucessfully imported, but they are not shown in the Reports of the Customer Voice.

Please your help:

  • How can I import responses in bulk to Customer Voice ?, in order they are shown in the reports of Customer voice portal.

1-Survey Response:

    Hey Roxana,

I can help with this one, too! Whenever a customer submits a response, the data is stored in Dataverse but also the Customer Voice insights service. Reporting in Customer Voice is looking to the insights service rather than the Dataverse.

After talking with Microsoft about this, the reason is to prevent users from manipulating the data of negative results.

All this means that there's no way to manually upload survey responses to show in the native reporting.

However, you can build your own Customer Voice reporting through Power BI and connect to the Dataverse data itself.
