How to reflect a field in audit log regardless if it changes or not?

Is there a way to always reflect a field in audit log regardless if the field changes or not , that to permanently show a field in the audit log anytime a change is made to the record ?. This is a requirement i dont know how to achieve.

Hi Boss,

The audit log can auditing the changes in the system. If no changes happened on an entity, the audit log would have nothing to record.

Hi Jack,

I know how audit trial works, I just want to know if there is any way we can extend it to always show an unchanged field.

Hi,

You can probably insert / remove blank space each time you save the record. Not an elegant workaround but might work.

Thanks for responding, but the field I am trying to show is a lookup field not just a text field.
