I suggest your read Using the Refactored Formletter Framework, because otherwise you'll likely run into similar problems with other methods. Also don't forget that you can use the debugger and cross-references to familiar yourself with existing code.

HI, martin, i have another two questions, in the saleseditline form when we click ok, what process is taking place? where i have to debug?

and my another question is , in the salestable form, in salesline tab grid, when we select itemid, we can filter it ,say(10*) and it filters it, i need to know, where is this logic to filter that item.

When you confirm the dialog, the posting happens. What it exactly means depends on what kind of posting you're doing and what parameters have you selected in the dialog. Can you ask a more specific question, please? Also don't forget to consult the document I mentioned.

Query ranges are used to generated SQL query to fetch values from database. 10* means values starting with 10.

Hi martin.. About my second question, Yes I know that 10* means values starting from 10.

I mean that in that grid , when we select item , we can filter it right? this filter logic is an AX automatic feature like "ctrl+G" or is there any logic that has written for the grid field Item Id?

Assuming that I understand what you mean by "this filter logic", it's automatic - you can use for any field without writing any extra code.

Filter by grid (Ctrl+G) is also just UI for adding ranges - it's technically the same thing, just presented in a different way.
