I have a financial period close template in Excel that I need to upload into 365 F&O. How do I import this template?

Hello Rita,

In the financial period close configuration form in GL you have an Excel template called "Financial period close template tasks".

Have you tried opening that one and used it for uploading your own tasks?

The blank template was emailed to me and I added 339 tasks and now I need to know how I get it into 365.

When I go into financial period configuration there is not a template called "financial period close template tasks.

Hi Rita@D1 I never tried this import but can you not import the file in the "Financial period close template tasks" entity in "Data Management" ?

You should be able to use the data entity mentioned above to import the tasks in Data management framework. I've used this entity many times. Unfortunately, it's the only data entity that exists for the Financial close configuration. It would be very helpful to also have a data entity to import the Role assignment to tasks and companies. That is a manual process and can be very tedious if you have a lot of different roles and/or companies.
