Hi,

Can anyone point me in the right direction on how is the best way to get the USD total of an specific packing slip?

Ex.
Lets say I have a sales order with 5 lines, then I ship only 2, so what I need is to get the total USD amount of that packing slilp of 2 lines (Including other charges and taxes, pretty much the same total amount I am going to have when I invoice this shipment, note that I still do not have the invoice of this shipment at the moment I want to get the total amount of the shipment by code)

    Have you tried a Proforma invoice using Packing slip for the quantity?

    If you're talking about X++, then use the SalesTotals class.

    Hi Sukrut,

    I review the SalesTotals class before... and this class works with the SalesTable, so what if I have a partial shipment, I want the total USD for that partial shipment only, not the full sales order, so what I need will be the functionality of SalesTotals class but working against a CustPackingSlipJour table...

    And I just want to be sure that there is nothing out of the box that can help me to accomplish that before I start writing something custom.

    Alberto,

    The SalesTotals class works not only with SalesTable, you can construct an instance of SalesTotals with SalesParmTable which is used to create a CustPackingSlipJour.

    Do this,

    SalesTotals salesTotals = SalesTotals::construct(salesParmTable, salesParmUpdate.SpecQty, salesParmUpdate.SumBy, salesParmUpdate.ParmId, salesParmUpdate.SumSalesId, documentStatus);

    then you can get your total with,

    salesTotals.totalAmount();
