Hi All,
I have created anew measure and did model build and DB sync, I can see the measure in Entity store when I click on refresh , the batch job is not triggering (running) . I even tried to refresh the standard measure in Entity store I see the same issue its not getting refreshed after clicking multiple time refresh also. Let me know if anybody faced same issue and have resolution for it.
Thanks,
Shwetha
I faced an issue where my entity store - aggregate measure were not refreshing, I clicked on the refresh button (system admin - entity store - aggregate measures), but it doesn't refresh.
I go to Batch Jobs and find the batch job name 'Full reset' and change its status to execution. This batch job refreshes the entity store so once the batch job is in execution, the entity store is refreshed.
Hi Shweta,
I am facing the same issue, what was the solution to this?
Thanks,
Sami
HI All,
We submitted the issue to MS Support, we got resolution for it , setting the batch job in recurrence worked , but its an issue with Batch server.
Thanks,
Shwetha
Hi Shwetha,
Since its not getting refreshed when you tried to refresh the standard measure in Entity store, it's seemed that DB restore issue.
how did you run DB restore? Also tell me docs checked, or please rerun DB restore.
Thanks, Tad
Hi Rahul,
Thanks for replying, It is working not working in dev box which has contoso data, we have restored the DB from Tier2 environment to cloud hosted dev box, we followed the guidelines mentioned in docs.microsoft.com.
Is there anything specific to DB restore have caused the issue?
We did Full build and DB sync. When trying to refresh the measure the batch job is not initializing.
Thanks,
Shwetha
did it worked in any other environment?
if not then should consider full build and redeploy of measure and then refresh
HI ,
Batch job is started and batch server is assigned and we tried to switch Automated Entity store refresh, still the same issue i.e, batch job are not creating
Thanks,
Shwetha
Hi Nikolas,
The batch job and batch services are running.
Thanks,
Shwetha
Since it's seems that your problem happens in dev system, please also check that the batch service is running.
Hi Shwetha,
Please check if the batch job is started, and please make if this batch job is actually responsible for your entity refresh.
It is recommended to switch to Automated Entity store refresh.
