"Set Regarding" Date on Emails and Timeline

So currently Emails tracked on the Timeline, if added will also reference "Modified Date". They will all show the same date if moved, etc.
Is there a way for it to read differently like Sent Date and/or Replied Date so that it shows up correctly sequentially?
 
This is for one of our users that hasn't tracked certain ones since the first thread was created. Of course those will update when you reply in the CRM, etc. but it shows the same dates if after the fact and/or if moving. I imagine we will have this issue if we automate Lead timeline->Opportunity timeline upon qualification.
