Hello:
I realize this is not a direct AX issue but was hoping for some assistance nonetheless.
We have a cluster of two SQL servers hosting the AX databases running Always-On / High Availability. On the primary SQL server I'm seeing a large number of errors in the event log.
The application-specific permission settings do not grant Local Activation permission for the COM Server application with CLSID
{806835AE-FD04-4870-A1E8-D65535358293}
and APPID
{EE4171E6-C37E-4D04-AF4C-8617BC7D4914}
to the user DIVISION\[userxx] SID (S-1-5-21-2070835033-839470470-1394949475-22302) from address LocalHost (Using LRPC) running in the application container Unavailable SID (Unavailable). This security permission can be modified using the Component Services administrative tool.
I do not see this on our secondary SQL server and assume that is because it's not the active instance. The appid in the error points to SQL Server Integration Services and the security on both SQL instances are identical. The "userxx" identified in the error message is NOT on the security list however. "Userxx" is the SQL service account we use in AX. I'm trying to understand firstly how to resolve the issue, then what are the implications of these errors on day-to-day functions in AX.
Thank you in advance for any help offered.
