Integration Manager - Script to Browse to Source File

Greetings!

1. Is it possible to use a different source files for the same integration?  For example, importing AP transactions and want be able to select Monday.txt (run integration), Tuesday.txt (run integrations), Wednesday.txt (run integration)...

2. If the above is possible, how can I use scripting to prompt the user to point to the file (Browse)?

I've been toying with the "Prompting the User for the Path to the Source Files" from the Script Library, but it requires the user to enter the whole path and doesn't appear to let them select a file.

Thanks in advance!

Jim

    Hi Jim,

I've got a big interest in this too. I worked with it for a while but never figured out a way to do it. I'm to ask at the reIMAGINE conference - there are lots of excellent developers attending. Not to mention the man who is arguably the best in the world - David Musgrave. He'll know the answer for sure..

    Kind regards,

    Leslie

From what I could see and from speaking with my resources in regards to Integration Manager, the script you mentioned will only let the users select a path but not an actual file, so that won't do what exactly you're looking to do.

By default, there doesn't appear to be a way to have the integration prompt a user to select the actual source file they want to use before it continues running the integration.

In this case, you would almost need to create an AP Transaction integration for Monday, Tuesday, etc., and run them according to what the day of the week is.

    Thanks.

Anyone have an update or more information on this?  This seems like something that should be available to do.  I've been playing with it and keep running into roadblocks so hoping there is some new information I just can't find.
