Axapta 4.0 with Windows Server 2008 R2 domain

My client is using Axapta 4.0 with Windows Server 2003 domain. However they want to upgrade the domain to Windows Server 2008R2 or Windows Server 2012 R2 domain. Is the Axapta 4.0 support Windows Server 2008R2 or Windows Server 2012 R2 domain? If yes, any update need? Thanks!

    Yes AX 4.0 is support on Windows Server 2008 R2:
