Adding column to Words Order, Picking List

In the company I am currently consulting (I am not an AX consultant btw hence my laymans terms), they have a part number (ItemNumber) and a Minor Revision field. I need to add the minor revision revision column to the picking list when a works order is raised. This column is shown in the WO BoM but does not appear on the pick list. Any help very much appreciated.
