Tracking Return Visits

Posted on by 120

Is there a way to track return visits in Dynamics? I have my tracking cookies put in my company websites and it's pulling in that data under Marketing > Websites, so I know they're working.

Right now, if I send an email to someone through a Customer Journey with a link to our website and they click it, I'd like to be able to see that they clicked (their name next to it, not just a list of pages that anonymous people visited), and what other pages they may have visited on our site while they were there. And then see what pages they visited if they come back a few weeks later.

Is this doable?

    RE: Tracking Return Visits

    Hey backinstereo,

Here's the documentation around viewing website insights (docs.microsoft.com/.../register-engagement) and contact insights (docs.microsoft.com/.../insights) which should get you started.

When a contact's cookie is stored, their website visits to your website will get tracked if they return to the site later as well.

    Regards,

    Shravan
