CAN WE RESET WORKFLOW WHICH IS CANCELLED

Hello all, 

Is it possible to resume or restart a workflow that has been canceled? During the process of recalling and resubmitting the journal, a user canceled it and then the workflow stopped giving below error:

Stopped (unrecoverable): Journal VPay-H, JB-1412452 is being posted and the workflow status cannot be changed

    Good afternoon,
    I hope you are very well.
     
    I write, because I am attending a similar case and basically tried everything.
    When the client tried to recover the flow of an adjustment, it was as follows: "21/06/2023 10:20:01: Stopped (unrecoverable): Journal BG Comer, D-01xxx4 is being posted and the workflow status cannot be changed"
    I generated a copy and the flow followed, but this (Journal: D-01xxx4, Commercial Adjustment) should be deleted. 
    I would like to know if there is any possibility of deleting the diaries that were left with an Unrecoverable Flow.
    Because I try to delete the journal and it does not leave me since it is tied with the workflow and at the same time I can not revert the "Canceled" status of the workflow because the reset option and resume or revert are disabled
     
    Help me please.

    Hello BRaza,

    You cannot reset the workflow status if it already "Cancelled" and "Completed".

    You can do a Recall action on workflows with status 'Unrecoverable', 'Pending', 'Stopped (error)'.

    Hi BRaza,

    Which workflow are you using? According to the error message, it seems to the related journal is being posted and there is auto-post during the workflow.

    If so, you cannot restart it. And you need to create a new journal to revert it.
