Benefits management - Calculation type - Per $ amount of coverage

Posted on by 972

Hi Experts,

I'm new to D365HR and have concern about Calculation type - Per $ amount of coverage on Rates.

Could someone help me explain the calculator for Coverage amount? How to calculate the Coverage amount?

After running multiple time, i'm not sure why my Coverage amount is still zero.

    Hi,

Thank you, but my concern is: Where i can input the Coverage amount or how this amount is calculated.

For the option "per $ amount of salary" i can test it out,

but for the option "per $ amount of coverage": "Coverage amount divided by Calculation amount (rounded up or down) times the amounts for smoker or non-smoker for employee or employer.)" i cannot find where to setup or how this amount is calculated

    Best regards,

    Hello Thu,

The first place I would direct to which explains the calculation in a bit more detail would be here: docs.microsoft.com/.../hr-benefits-setup-rates

The interplay between the fields will change how the coverage is calculated and what amounts are used - in the screenshots shown here, calculation amount should follow as such: "If blank, the system will use the exact calculation of the salary/coverage amount divided by the calculation amount. If this value has a fraction, then the system will use this in its calculation."
