See product translations in the released products form

Hi all,

I have a question on product translation. The use case is as follows:

I have 2 companies
- EN-US company
- IT company

Items have translations for both languages (EN-US / IT)

I would like to see the translations in the products / released products form either based on the legal entity language or better via the user's settings

questions:
- Is this a possible via parametrization (so without any customization)
- Where does the 'default language' on the product come from?
- How can you change the default language set on the product

I have tried playing around with settings for user language, legal entity language and system language but the product is always showing the EN-US translation.
I have also looked for documentation on this but haven't yet found an answer so hope anybody here can help me with this!

    Hi Nick,

The system parameter language is used for the default product name. If you change this one, the value might be cached resulting in still using the old value.

Thank you for the reply André!

System parameter language is indeed leading for the default product name.

Sadly I haven't yet found an answer on showing product translations according to legal entity / user settings language - so will be adding this on a customer project via customization.

I have logged an idea suggestion for this with MS:

    Have a nice day!
