Hello,

Is there anyway to enforce workflow security on one workflow that is  On-Demand?

I have tried changing the scope, but no matter the scope - the users are able to run the workflow.

Thank you

    Hi Schweep,

The only way you have is on the security rule don't allow to run the workflow.

Go to: Security Role -> Customization -> Execute Workflow Job

The hard way: Create a custom button and put security on  it

you should be able to control the access to workflow based on privilege defined in the security role. If you only give user level privilege to Process under the Customization tab of the security role then user will have access to only workflows created by him and shared with him. other workflows created on the system won't be visible to him when he clicks on the run workflow button.

Go to Security Role> Customization Tab>miscellaneous privileges> Execute Workflow Job

    Remove "Execute Workflow Job" permission.

    Hi Schweep,

The hard way is throw this:

    ribbonworkbench.uservoice.com/.../132235-create-a-workflow-short-cut-ribbon-button-no-code

Then you need to apply a rule on the button to hide or show based on the user or security rule or other user attribute. Throw javascript or based on the a entity that user can`t see.

Hi Hugo, Anyway we can create a button within the forms and write the code behind the button click event.

    best wishes,
