Hi guys,

FixedAssets\Journals\Fixed assets

In the FA journal, while validation & posting getting above mentioned error.

You could find the setup below

Hope someone could give the solution.

am facing this issue on depreciation profile. Please any suggestion on this to resolve this issue

As I said, this is related to setup.

We mentioned financial dimension for the transaction. Now it's being posted.

Hi Krishna,

For Defaulting FA dimensions, Open the Value model form and update the default financial dimension for the Asset under financial dimension tab.

For to check Account Structure, Go to GL--> Setup-->Chart Of Accounts-->Configure account structure form

Get the help from finance consultant, when you go for investigate COA structure.

Check whether FA account is mapped in COA structure or not. Also check the Ledger parameter for, whether the account mapped COA structure is activated or not.

Thanks Andre & Muthu.

I believe this is the issue of account structure & dimensions related.

In case of account FA account VEH-00001, the ledger dimensions becomes "0". Since The

default dimension in LedgerJournalTrans table is "0". I found this by debugging.

Unfortunately I'm not familiar where to check, what was the wrong.

If you could point me the setup to check, it would be of great help..

Check the Fixed Asset, whether the posting profile is mapped with the values model.

Is the ledger account part of an active account structure? Please check the account structures and also if the Ledger form has the correct account structure listed for this legal entity.
