I try now to combine two wokflows in Travel & Expense module - an auto-posting and a normal expense report WF as sub-workflow.
The idea was,that an expense report WF includes manual approval steps of Managers and AP Clerk and then -as soon as AP Clerk approves the expense report - an auto-posting WF should pick up all the expense reports with status "approved" and post it.
But in my case, when AP Clerk approves an expense report, the auto-posting WF ends with an error:
"Stopped (error): Approved status cannot be changed to In review status".
Or: my second idea was to use these two WF's separately. the normal expense Report WF would be a first step. And in auto-posting WF I could just build a conditional decision -pick up all reports with status "approved".
Two problems here: 1)conditional decision needs two outcomes - for true and false. I don't know what WF should do in case "false".
2)the Auto-posting WF Returns no Errors, but it doesn't post anything.
if anybody know how to build this automated Task (without customizing in Code or AOT), i would be very greatfull.
or is a Batch Job the simpliest solution?
