Default Descriptions not working

Has anyone had any issues with the Default Descriptions not automatically posting as setup using the MS guidelines? In our case, the descriptions work in an environment with demo data, but not in a fresh environment to be used by a customer.

    Can you give some examples? Which languages did you setup and does it matches e.g. the company setup?

    Hello,

    I have the same issue. I'm trying to personalize vendor invoice from purchase order and product receipt transaction test.

    I followed the Microsoft documentation and this link www.daxfinanceblog.com/.../add-default-descriptions-to-general-ledger-postings but I've no results at all.

    Examples:

    I've added Purchase Order - Invoice (Ledger and Supplier) in Organisation administration -> Setup -> Default descriptions setting language "it" and a fixed text without using variables.

    Then I open a received purchase order and I post the related invoice. When I look at the voucher transaction I see the default description.

    Any Idea?

    Something related to that? Only remember this with "default descriptions"

    Actually Italy is not in the list, infact I don't have all the features enabled. I tried to install the hotfix 3101876 but after compilation I've hundreds of errors so I restored the model backup.

    This hotfix enables some addictional parameters but the basic functionality should be the same for all countries.
