Error Message when attempting to create an electronic W2 file

I get this message when trying to create my magnetic media file in GP 2015 , I get this error message. "The Federal Electronic W-2 file couldn't be created."

This is 15 years of GP experience and the first I've seen this error. Any ideas why I'm getting it?

Hello Laurie,

My name is Brandon and I am a support Engineer on the Microsoft GP Team and will assist you with your question.

When we see this error, it is usually due to not be able to write to the File/Drive. Can you change the location and try to save the file to that location that you have full control over?
