AX 2012 with SharePoint 2016

Does anyone know if you can install Enterprise Portal or Enterprise Search for AX 2012 on SharePoint 2016? If not, are there any plans to support SharePoint 2016 in the future?

As of now in AX 2012, Enterprise Portal is supported on SharePoint 2013.

I am not sure about Microsoft plans, because next ax7 has no more EP.

Hi,

You can read about compatibility in the AX 2012 system requirements guide. In additions there can be some announcements on the InMarket Engineering team blog: blogs.technet.microsoft.com/dynamicsaxse

Until now I have nothing noticed about the compatibility. I'm not aware of plans to support it for AX2012 or not.

Hi,

I wonder if anyone aware of Microsoft plans for enterprise portal and reporting service in sharepoint 2016 mode support as until now it is not available to integrate any of those services.

As usual, Microsoft is not compatible with their own products, right now, if you have Windows server 2016, you can't install SharePoint 2010 or 2013 because the AppFabric is not longer supported, you have to install SharePoint server 2016.

But ... SharePoint 2016 is not compatible with AX 2012 R3! LOL!
