Retail POS - Async Client failed to connect to Async Server

I have retail components and AX install in a single machine (Windows Server 2012). Now I would like to install my POS in external machine (Win 7).

https://community.dynamics.com/ax/b/axsupport/archive/2014/06/27/connecting-retail-components-on-an-external-computer-to-the-microsoft-dynamics-ax-r3-azure-lifecycle-services-demo-virtual-machine

Similar to the above link, but just that I'm not using azure. I get certificate error although I managed to display the site with host name from the external machine. (Not DNS)

After this I continued the installation of Async Client. I've done the setup on External channel database in AX. Async Client service is the login that I'm using on external machine (my own login ID). When come to configure connection to Async Server, I got the following :

When I test connection, I got the error Setup is unable to connect to the Async Server using the information that you provided.

What is wrong with my setup and how should I fix that ?

Appreciate any help, Thanks.

Check in event viewer if the error is related to SSL certificate

No error log related to that. Is it because my SSL cert is self generated ?

Hi, I think my problem is on the SSL certificate CN not same as the URL that I used. URL is https://computername:port/AsyncServer

Do you have any idea how to solve it ?

Configure Async Client to use the same URL as SSL certificate, or you need to generate a new one.

In my external machine I cannot see my server DNS name, so the only solution is to generate a new cert with 'CN=computername' ?

Take a look at how to generate the certificates for MPOS without you getting the certificates errors you are getting (noticed the red address bar in your initial screenshot):

    Hi Iulian,

I think you didn't create the files in the demoCA folder?

Yes I have. This is my folder structure, with the 2 files created in it.
