Hi,
I have the Customer Demo on this week, I tried to map the data using D365 Contact Entity and Azure SQL Data, but it's shows D365 contacts is "0" (as yellow highlight) . at map for this I added the rule Email matching. Finally Map process "0" recoreds is matched
I have cross verified both data sources and mail id's are exactly matching.
Instance ID : 4d00d25e-d64d-4f52-b644-8d1c52740228
Seasion id : a9d0c04e-546d-4258-a3a8-aef0c84a219e
It does not require to import the excel sheet in the Dynamics 365 CRM. As a Dynamics 365 Administrator you many want to test your business processes by For example, in the Lead entity, the Status field is the read-only field.
Thanks Thomas.
Hi Narendra,
New line characters in one or more fields from the OOB Dynamics tables can be causing this issue. We can fix this by enabling handling special characters by a setting. Looking at the number of profiles you are trying to bring in from the other entity PredictedAnalysisData, I believe we should be good in terms of perf impact as well.
We just released a newer version of the Match UI that shows more stats explaining the Match process and input and output of various steps etc. and for better debuggability. This will also help understand any further explanation on source records themselves are not coming or are they getting deduped etc.
If you would like to enable this setting on your instance to handle new line characters, please send an email to CIHelp@microsoft.com and mention your CI instance id, and we will enable this setting.
Thank you!

Hi,
which fields did you include in your D365 Contact data source? Does any of them contain comas or line breaks?
I had the same issue, since I included the address composite field, which contain line breaks and that messed up the match process ... Since behind the scenes CI export the data as csv and does the matching using big data technology like Spark. And this is confused with comas and line breaks ...
There is though a setting, which can be activated by the support on your instance, which would ignore line breaks or coma's, but it has a negative impact on the performance.
Hope this helps.
