Apply action when using Purchase order workflow

Hi,

we are using Purchase order workflow requiring Request change by any updates, we also push the purchasers to use the Actions informed after MRP run.

Within Master plan / Actions the is a bottom "Apply action" -  when applying we get this stop error "PO xx cannot be updated because change management is enabled"

Is there anyway to update to include "Request change & update & Submit" within this Apply action bottom?

Meaning - it is not possible to use apply action without request change when PO WF is activated. thanks for the feedback.

What i can think of is to manaully change PO and re-submit it, or apply action when PO is planned PO.

    thank you MATTGUO,

I know the difference between changing PO with and without PO Workflow - it is a business decision to use PO workflow.

In the link I dont find solutions to use Apply action when PO workflow is required, have you managed to use these 2 in combination?

    Hi Dorit,

The apply action will update certain fields in PO. You can create two cases( one has workflow, another does not have) to compare the difference.

This linkage is about the action messages exist in action form: docs.microsoft.com/.../about-action-messages
