Creating opportunity product should be required in an opportunity

Hi Community!

I have the following requirement from our customer:

If an opportunity reaches a specific sales stage, the user has to create an opportunity products before entering the next sales stage. Otherwise it should not be possible to enter the next sales stage.

It is also possible that an opportunity products should be automatically created when a specific sales stage is met - but this is just an alternative.

Did someone has a similiar requirement or any ideas for a solution? :)

    easiest way will be to add a Yes/No column inside the stage and creating a plugin to check if an opportunity product is present, otherwise throw an exception and stop the update to the stage (or in alternative create the opportunity product inside the code).

    You can eventually use a classic workflow, but it will require the use of a custom workflow activity to check if an opportunity product is present.
