Will changing unit cost in PO invoice will there be any impact on "current cost" related item?

Hi All,

Recently user reported that there is change in current cost when the PO related invoice unit cost is changed. I tried to reproduce the same but I was not able to reproduce the same scenario .

Example

Current cost of item 1500 $

PO shipment receipt unit cost 1500$. posted the same in GP.

Now while invoicing, changed the unit cost of sku from 1500$ to 1300$ .

Now the current cost is got changed.

Is it possible for the current cost to change related to change in invoice ? I am aware that current cost changes based of changes in shipment receipt .
