How can I translate a partner app into BC 14?

How can I translate a partner app into BC 14? The original app is translated into en-US, fr-BE and nl-BE and I need to translate to pt-PT.
I tried to do the following:
Create an App depending on the Partner app, translate it to PT-PT and publish the new app. I succeeded in everything but translation :D

I'm trying to do this way after reading the following topic:

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/business-central/dev-itpro/developer/devenv-work-with-translation-files#translating-other-extensions

Any sugesttion? Is this the best way to do the translation without changing the source code of the partner app?

Note: i'm working with On-prem version.

Thanks in advance.

Best regards,

Luís Franco

Yes this is the only possible way to do so. Is your XLIFF file created correctly?

    Hi Stefano,

    Thanks for your answer.

I think it's created correctly because when i use exactly the same xliff file in "base app" it's work properly.

I create an app like the following

In the app.json have declared the depency and after download the symbols of the "base app" were added to alpackages.

The xliff look like the following.

If i open the app i can see the following

    Any suggestion ?

    Thanks for you help.

    Best regards,

    Luis Franco

The name of the translated file must be YourAppname.pt-PT.xlf (remove the G letter).

I have tried like you suggest but have the same result. Doesn't translate =\

I think the problem itsn't related with the name because if use the xliff in the base app it's work as you can see bellow

    pastedimage1595946043554v1.png

"Grupo Fornecedor" it's the translation for Buyer Group

    Any more ideias?

Once again thanks for your help.

    BR,

    Luis Franco
