NAV2015 RTC Z-Order Strangeness

Hi there,

I am testing a little with the current NAV2015 (Cumulative Update 3) - appears to be a messy business. :) Aside from all the other things that could erupt into a rant (Social Listening - really? From the company that brought us tiles on the desktop, the ribbon, RTC and RDLC reports, just to name a few, against the collective outcry of the developer and user forums, and they should be competent in social listening? Huh?), there seems to be some strangeness in the RTC window behaviour. When you change the columns to be shown in a page (modal dialog) , and you change focus to some other application (Outlook, Development Environment, doesn't really matter), and you want to switch back to the RTC, you must select the page with the modal dialog open, or you will get an error beep. Clicking into the main window will result in a beep.

What I would expect from the RTC: To bring all its windows to the foreground when the main window is clicked. This may not be the case when you click one of the sub-windows, but it should bring he sub-window and all its siblings and children to the foreground.

Now, why this deviating behaviour? I see no reason for it. Can we get this fixed, please?

with best regards

Jens
