How can I export and import number sequences from one environment to another?

Is there an easy way to copy over the number sequence data from one AX environment to another?

In a test environment awhile back, we originally ran the wizard to generate all of our number sequences. We had to modify the format for many of them, as well as add a couple hundred more for different journal vouchers. We are trying to start with a clean database now in a new test environment, but we will be bringing in some base tables from the old environment. How can I bring in the number sequences into this new environment, instead of having to re-add and modify all of them? What tables should be included in my definition group if I should export and import the data? I have tried many combinations and continue to get broken records in the NumberSequenceTable, NumberSequenceScope, and NumberSequenceReference tables.

I am using AX 2012. Thanks for your help.

    Hi Adam,

Did you find a solution to your problem? I have a similar challenge currently and was hoping you might have found an answer!

    Thanks

    Sorry Steve,

We never got around this. We've been having to run the num seq wizard everytime we create a new environment, and then modifying those system generated ones.

Well, the AOT table of Number Sequence is NumberSequenceTable. But, I am unable to upload any thing.

You could export the required field from the training environment to Excel, and then use DIXF (Entity = Number Sequence code) to load it to the new environment.
