Sales credit memo amount comes negative for project accounting

Dear Members,

I have one requirement for project accounting module. Here in line type 'fees' i select credit memo. But the credit memo the line amount is in negative and it not allow to post. Its a standard functionality means please give a suggestion handle the negative amount of sales credit memo in project accounting to post.

Hi,

This is as per process and it is to keep track between planning lines and posted lines.

Solution:

Delete the current credit memo for the planning line.

Now put quantity in negative.

Create credit memo.

You are good to post.

In the project planning lines you need to have a positive quantity, and a negative unit price or line amount. This way when the sales credit memo is created both the quantity and unit price/amount will be positive and the system will allow you to post.

Is this a standard field? I did not find this Type field on Project Task. If it is a custom function, I suggest you contact your partner to solve the problem.
