Greetings,

I want to install new AX 2012 R3 with CU13.

1. I downloaded DynamicsAX2012R3-KB4032175

2. Extracted this file - Copied the extracted files/folders into AX 2012 R3 source under "Update" folder as CU13

3. Then I run the ax installer. and Installation was finsihed.

My question is :

Since I am doing fresh install with cu13.  Do I need to download the slipstream for earlier CUs and copy under undate folder also like "CU7" "CU8" "CU9" along with "CU13"

Or

Just CU13 is enough

note :-

this download not slipstreams

    CU13 is enough.

CU = Cumulative Update, it contains all previous updates.

I'm sorry but I'm not sure if I understand your question since I think I provided you this information already.

But I try to be more clear:

    - Slipstream installation means that the update is installed during AX installation. This is achieved by putting the update package in the Updates folder in your AX installation package. The purpose of slipstream installation is that you can avoid having to first install AX and then install the update. Instead you update it during the AX installation. So no, you don't need to install CU13 after installing AX, if you had CU13 in the Updates folder when you installed AX.

    - You don't need to install older CU packages. You don't need to put older CU packages in the Updates folder. CU = Cumulative Update = contains all previous updates.

    Is it now clear?
