Dimension is automatically reverting to another Dimension

When inputting a particular Branch Dimension Code (in this case BR), it is automatically reverting to another code (AD) after tabbing across the cell to the next one and we do not know why this is happening. This is only happening with one of our users, all others are working perfectly and it only began recently. Prior it was perfectly fine. Can anyone tell me how to stop this?

Are you able to choose the value 'BR' from a drop down list for that field? If so, try doing that for one round and posting. Then see if you can manually type BR and tab out after that.

This looks very weird. On the one hand, Is there any customization that was applied recently ? On the other hand, start by removing the user profile personalization.

The solution i suggest looks weird too, but I know it resolves some bizarre issues. For example, a user does not see lines in a general journal whilst other users are OK... the solution is "remove profile personalization for that user"

Are you adding that dimension to a document or document line?
