Licensing in implementing Dynamics 365 on-premises for Enterprize

Hi Folks,

We have an enterprize customers who has requirement to rollout on-premise version of Dynamics 365 CRM 2016. Could anyone please tell me how licensing is managed in on-premise CRM? What are the associated costs in terms of licensing?

    Thanks for your response, Fun. Appreciate it.

    I have gone thru the guide however I am still confused on what are the licenses that I would need at minimum to get the software running on-premise (besides Windows Server/ SQL). For example, do I need to buy a Dynamics 365 for on-prem installations? Do I need to buy team member licenses? Do I need to buy full member licenses? Is there anything else that I need to buy? Unfortunately, Microsoft Sales is not reachable at the moment! (ya sounds weird thou!)
