Actually my question if database used percentage reach until 100 % will make problem and if not what i will do

Hi guys

i have sql server 2005 connect with dynamic nav 2009 r2 i open file-database - information i found following :

database used kb 269440

database size kb 304896

object cache kb 32000

percentage used 88%

Are there are any problem if database used reach until 100% my license is client license and i don't using demo or Cronus

    hi,

    if your database reach 100% system (sql) can't commit data from log  > error "pending transactions not committed etc.."

    you can add others files after db reached 100%,  but is not indicated for NAV (many tables fragmentation)

    you can set autoexpand properties on datafiles on sql server; only NAV native database need manul files expansions.

    Look at File->Database->Alter (classic client) on 'Database Files' and 'Transaction Log Files' tabs on 'File Growth' field. You can find percent of growth here. Database will automatic growth for configured percent. You can setup this on SQL, as well.
