Microsoft Dynamics Nav Blue Screen Problem

Hello, I am new here, and am unable to find a solution to my problem by searching. I doubt there even is one.

At my job we use Microsoft Dynamics Nav 6.0 2009 R2 (6.00.32012).

I log into Microsoft Nav through a Remote Desktop Connection, and when i do this it opens Nav automatically.

The problem is when i accidentally hit the X on Nav and not the Whole Desktop Connection, Nav closes and i am unable to reopen it without having to go ask my boss or the IT Person to fix it for me from their computers, as they are the administrators and i am just a user on the account.

Is there a fix for this that can

a) allow me to fix the issue without having to wait for someone else, or

b) not allow Nav to close with X as to save the issue from occurring.

Please help if you can, i am a little computer savvy... i was able to get in here and make a post, right? So i can do a couple of things with my PC, but of course i dont have alot of permissions on my system to do whatever i want, but maybe i can give the solution to our IT person and we can be saved from this headache, once and for all.

Thank You

followed by this window, where i log in and find nav open and ready to go for me.

I don;t know how they have their security setup so we can only guess.

    Thanks for your reply,

    Your answers:

    1) Nav opens automatically with RDC on initial start up, when Nav is accidentally closes by it self, RDC stays open of course. Then when you close and restart RDC you are stuck on the same blue screen with no start menu or any icons. .

    2) The Nav icon that we use to get into Nav opens RDC and we log in, and then Nav is automatically opened for us.

3)The people who fix it are the Owner of the company and the person who is solely responsible for IT things. I have not asked them because i kinda new here and don't want to be overstepping my bounds by asking about things that require more permission than my computer is allowed. Now i once watched them get someone out of Nav, and i think they opened a task manager for the server(?) and then clicked the logon name of the employee and just logged them out manually like that and they were able to get back in.

I kinda assumed it was a security issue that they didn't want compromised, that's why i put in the first line of my post i doubt this could be solved.

These are the questions I ask myself when I read your post.

    1) If Nav opens automatically when RDC is started - then when you close nav by accident, why not just close RDC and restart that again?

2)Is there no Nav Icon? how about Start->All Programs->nav, etc etc (do you see a start button)?

3)the other prople who fix it for you, can they tell you what they are doing to start nav, so you don;t have to ask them each time?
