Workflow throwing an error.

Hello All Experts,

I am experiencing the below error in one of the workflow.

Regarding entity with object type 10010 does not have a relationship with object type 8002.

Can anyone help me in resolving this.

Hi,

You have a problem with the post functionality of crm or Activity feed: www.powerobjects.com/.../microsoft-dynamics-crm-activity-feed-part-3-working-with-rules

Did disable/delete some relationships?

As it is MS OOTB functionalities, I would open a MS support ticket

Hi EmployeeOcta ,

probably this error is caused by solution imported to another environment.

In target environmen the reference point to an entity which hold a different entity code.

Please verify the entity code in source and target environment to confirm my suspect.

If this scenario is confirmed, you need to re-create your relation in target environment.

After that, i suggest to backup target environment over source environment.

Hi,

I am just suggesting that you if I were you I would open a support ticket. At least it is your problem and I am just here to make some suggestion in order to mitigate your problem :)

thanks for your suggestion, may be you are correct , but this is happening in dev as well as test environment.

although i will cross check your suggestion, just need more help in this.

i am having online instance so how could i check the entity code?

Hi,

If its Non OOB entity object code could be different for the respective environment. Hence the error. Please edit the workflow step, if you are setting Regarding value dynamically , clear the field and set it again.

Is it custom workflow activity or OOB workflow?

If its OOB try editing the workflow step, if you are setting Regarding value dynamically , clear the field and set it again then save and activate.

Hi EmployeeOcta,

just check in default solution the entity node or use the following code to retrieve entity code over environments:

RetrieveEntityRequest request = new RetrieveEntityRequest();
request.LogicalName = "yourentitylogicalname";

RetrieveEntityResponse response = (RetrieveEntityResponse)service.Execute(request);
int entitycode = response.EntityMetadata.ObjectTypeCode.Value;
