Installing Microsoft Regression Suite Automation Tool via SCCM and Running without UAC

I was tasked with creating an installation package of the Regression Suite Automation Tool and distributing via SCCM.  The package works great, but I cannot figure out what transform to use to install the product so that it does not force UAC when opening the application.  Our environment does not allow for access to Local Admin privileges so the users need to be able to run this without being prompted for credentials.  HELP!

I have the same question (0)

    Hi,

not sure if RSAT can be configured via SCCM. Each instance of RSAT will need respective access tokens and trusted certificate generated. The same has to be added to the AOS config file as well.

Usually RSAT is installed in a couple of machines where the test can be triggered. Do you have so many users wanting to use RSAT by themselves ?

We have just a couple of users that will need it globally.  The issue we are facing is our global standards have removed all local admin access for installation of software and I have been tasked with creating a SCCM installation of this.  BUT, if it wont work, we will have to do something else.  Thank you for the information!

The official documentation says that the user must have admin rights to the environment.

Perhaps you can allocate a D365 devbox for each of the RSAT users, then they only have admin rights inside that VM. Or allocate any isolated VM for them.

Similar rights are needed for all developers, too (unless they are using MS managed Tier1 boxes but those can't be used for all dev stuff), so RSAT would not be the only case for such requirement.

You can install it on users laptop as well, in that way you don't have to worry about rights or use Dev box in your subscription where you have control.
