Due Date of Prod Order

Posted on by 725

Hi all,

In NAV 2009, we create FP (Firm Planned Prod Order) for a top-level Item on Job Planning Lines.

If we change status of FP to RP (Released Prod Order) before we do Calculate Regenerative Plan for its components, is the Due Date of that RP going to be included in the planning process later when we do Calculate Regenerative Plan?

Thank you.

NAV2009 do not use Items quantities in Job Planning Line when you Calculate Regenerative Plan. Demand from job planning line is included in inventory planning in NAV2013.

If demand is not from Job Planning Line, system will use quantities from Firm Planned PO. If you have this Firm Planned PO in Planning Worksheet, you cannot change status of PO. If you have not this in Planning Worksheet, you can Calculate Regenerative Plan and you will get related lines using data from demand and Released PO.

If you have date of PO after demand date, system will recommend to cancel existing PO and make new PO with earlier date.

Once again, this is case when you have demand from other sources, not from Job Planning Line.
