Hi Friends,

Actually while working on the Project quotation I find that once the project quotation get confirmed I cannot attach any document to it whereas in the sales quotation, PO, Sales order I can attach after confirmation, what can be the logic or business logic behind this.

Hi Imran,

Have you tried turning on SalesQuotationTable in the Active document tables setup. You don't need to turn on Active Document tables parameter. But if you just add the table (Ref Table Id 8572, Sales Quotation) to the list in Active document tables (Organization administration > Document management > Active Document Tables). While Active Document Tables is designed towards restricting document attachments across the board, we dont need to turn it on. Instead, just add the table. This is a work around that I've seen used many times.

Thanks for your reply.

I tried the way you said and I added the sales quotation in the Active Document Table, and it worked fine. But for the testing purpose I delete the record I created for the sale quotation and even after deleting i can attach the document, i don't know how, strange.

I had this problem too and after restarting the client I could create the attachment.

Hi Imran,

The solution shared by Akshay, is the perfect solution to use the Active documebt table.

The issue you faced after enabling this, you can attach even on a deleted doc, that might be a refresh issue, please refresh the browaser and test once agin.
