Navision Customer information has gone

One of our users has had a problem in that when he was inputting information for a customer in that when he was finished putting the information in, all of his other customer information had gone. There are no customers in his receivables listings. We logged off the TS and logged on again, same result. We logged on to the TS using a different machine, and all the information was there.

Is there a shortcut key or a filter setting that may have been accidentally pressed to cause this?

Thank You

Dave

There are filters that can appear on the list pages.

Be sure there are no filters applied as seen below:

You can click View > Select All (Shift + F7) to clear all the filters in particular form in NAV 2009.

You need to clear the filters from both Customer Card & Customer List, if applied by that particular user in that machine.

Alternative you can search for fin.zup file in that user machine, close the NAV application and delete that particular file. This would delete all the filters applied by that particular user. You can use this at last step, as lot of user specific setups & parameters (Like show column, hide column, column width, fields arrangement etc.) are stored in that file and deleting this would erase all this settings, however help you to clear all the filters applied on any of the forms in NAV.

I agree that it looks like there is a filter that your user most likely had selected. Clear all the filters, the user will see the other customers as well.
