Quick question. Why do we need to 'Delete plan' if we are running a regenerative master plan?Regenerative suggests existing planned orders will be cleared down.

Hi,
No, I do not think you need to use Delete plan as part of your normal operations. Regeneration will delete planned orders, unless those planned orders fall in the freeze time fence, or if they are Approved (I think). And presumably, if you are using either of those things, you don't want them deleted anyway.
The point Guy mentioned is very important.
You should approve the ones that you want to keep.
Hi Steven,
Delete plan comes handy in case Master plan is initiated twice before the first one has finished processing. This creates conflicts in ReqTrans table and you need to delete the records before you re-run the Master plan.
Or else you are right ,if you run Master plan with re-generative principle no need to use delete plan job.
