Hi,

Is anyone else having an issue adding a column to the Item List on a clean install of 2018 CU1?

On right click of the column heading and selecting "Choose Columns" the client crashes, the debug routine shows

An unhandled exception of type 'System.ArgumentException' occurred in Microsoft.Dynamics.Nav.Client.WinClient.dll

Additional information: The column identifier is not a valid source expression.

It looks as though this is isolated to the Item List?

    The problem was solved in CU2. Everything works fine.

    Hello! Not only for Item List (31), also in these objects:

    "Posted Sales Invices (143)"

    "Posted Sales Credit Memos (144)"

    "Posted Purchase Invoices (146)"

    "Posted Purchase Credit Memos (147)"

    ..... and, who knows where else?

    Hello:

    Yes we are experiencing the same problem and it appears to be only on the Item List - we are using Object Designer to move columns as a temporary workaround.

    As well we are experiencing a problem with 'Customize this Page' on the  Item Card and Customer Card and maybe others. Are you having same problem!

    Ah...that's worked the same for me.

    Hopefully this will be sorted in CU2.

    Hi!

    I've just test it and got the same crush on last Development Preview (Tenerife) release.

    Original 2018 (without CU) works well. So I think, it's a bug of CU1.

    Hi,

    thanks for the reply, I've tried the repair and it's still the same.

    I've created a new List page and this allows me to add columns with no issue so it looks as though its related to this particular page.
