I habe a question regardinf wave and work generation in production. Currently the wave and work is generated wjen i click Release to warehouse button in production order. What I would like to do is for it to generate as soon as i change the status of production to released, that mwans i want to generate wave and work when i click release instead of released to warehouse. Is there a set up for that. Thanks in advance

I haven't seen a setting for this. For sales orders and transfer orders there is a batch job which could be used for release to warehouse. Possibly, you can consider a customization for a similar batch job.
