"Open in Excel" action not working while opening web client through google chrome

Hello All,

The "Open in Excel" action is not working in NAV 2013 R2 CU4 when I open the web client from google chrome.

But its working when I open it from Internet Explorer or Mircosoft Edge.

What could be the reason?

Any help will be appreciated

Those records are present in the table but still not working.

i don't know why , it must be there :/

Anyway check your "Launch Applications" on nav also

hi,

I am also using office 2013 and updated google chrome with current version 57.0.2987.110.I even disabled the pop-up as google chrome recommended in the setting but still no luck.Is there anything I have missed?

hi ,

can you mention your Office version and your Chrome version or try update ,

because im using office 2013 / chrome version 56.3232924

Tested NAV 2013 R2 & NAV 2017 , Its perfect working

even your pop-up blocker is disable , its cannot be happen

yes..I have enabled the pop-up blocker and how to check for the plugins for chrome btw?

You might have checked it, but just a simple question, have you checked the plugins for chrome and the pop-up blocker?

Hi Maneesha,

I have reinstalled the updated chrome for every pc.Each pc has ms-office installed already

but its not working that way.Is there any other way for me to fix this issue?

Hi Sulav Raj Thapaliya ,

I have just tested there are no issue its properly open the excel

there are no system bug on this most probably its in your pc side

Try reinstall chrome/update chrome / check with another pc is it the same
