Asynchronous Plugin Retry

Hi

I have an asynchronous plugin that is fired on PostCreate of an entity. If an error occurs during execution of plugin it retries itself after a certain period of time. I dont want it to retry, how can I do that?

    Apparently, if you throw an exception of type InvalidPluginExecutionException, the retry mechanism won't trigger.

    Hi!

    I've just published a blog post on this!

    develop1.net/.../Control-Async-Workflow-Retries.aspx

    Although I've never tried it for Async Plugins (only workflows) it is likely to work due to the fact that the two share the same execution mechanism.
