Cant receive a delivery reminder

We have a purchase order that contain two items .. the entire quantity of the first item arrived and received and also invoiced ..

the second item we ordered a quantity of 12 , received only 10 and invoiced the 10 ... and marked the 2 as delivery reminder

now when we try to create a product receipt for the remaining 2 we get the following error

Hi Mazin,

Can you check the remaining quantity to receive from the purchase order line? Probably during product receipt or invoicing the remainder was set to zero?

sure

it says "Cannot receive quantity 2.00 because inventory transactions with status Ordered, Arrived or Registered are insufficient."

Hi Mazin,

Not sure, as I cannot look in your data. It looks like one inventory transaction record is missing in your environment. There should be a second line with status ordered and quantity 2.

Are you aware of possible data correction actions by another person or customizations in this area?

If the record is really missing, it should be created with a correction job.

i think someone deleted a line in invetTrans while trying to correct this error ..as he thought its an extra line (worked with previous error) .. what do you mean by correction job ?

can i reverse this P.O and and recreate it again ?

if possible what is the approach ?

Hi Mazin,

You can try to change the delivery remainder to 3 and when you can see an inventory transaction revert back to 2. Otherwise, a developer would be able to help you on-site with a specific script to recreate the record.

can i change the delivery remainder to 4 so i get 2 items with status ordered ... then receive 2 and cancel the remaining 2

because when i change the delivery remainder from 4 to 2 before receiving ... the transactions disappear

Hi Mazin,

This will not work out. I reread the complete question and comments. I do think there are inventory transaction records missing with status received or invoiced. In that case, a developer or SQL administrator would be able to help you recreating the records. Afterwards, you have to run the Consistency check for the Inventory module with the 'Fix' option as this will repair possible incorrect InventSum records.
