Hi everyone,

I'm trying to filter data in Grid based on querybuildrange then refresh it when combo box's selection change.

I have found a lot of solution ( http://kashperuk.blogspot.de/2010/03/tutorial-reread-refresh-research.html ), but nothing works in my case; I have tried Ds_reread, Ds_refresh ect...i have tried to reload the form too but the grid still not refreshed.

Any Help please?

what you are trying to do?

remove filters/ranges or add filters?

Yes i have tried calling the init, the executequery, the refresh and research methods from _DS but it doesn't refresh the grid

Hi Sohaib,

I try to remove filters, wich mean reset Grid ; return to the initial state

If you have a combobox and when it change you need to refresh the grid, you have to

1.- set code on modified method on combobox

2.- Change query (querybuildRange) to modifify query

3.- Call execute query

you are right but I'am wondering to use fuctions from those hwo are available for DS.(refresh, reread...ect)

But if you change query you need to execute query, refresh and reread is only for the selected record on DS.

Hi Ennasri,

you can use SysQuery::valueUnlimited( to clear your ranages under execute query method of form. This way you don't need to do any mess with refresh of form.

I have used it with a simple range and it works , but with Range based on join datasources not working, any suggestion please?
