Updating Account Structure with new Segment

I'm trying to update an existing Account Structure with a new Segment (Financial Dimension) but it's greyed out as seen in the screenshot below:

The reason for trying this is because a New Financial Dimension has been created and there is a need for the Financial Dimension to be visible for selection for Customer Invoice Postings.

I cannot see all of your segments, but It's most likely because you have hit the limit of 11 segments in an accounting structure.

How many segments do you have?

Hi,

As Jonas said, you cannot add more than 11 segments in account structure. To achieve this you can use advance rules structure.

I agree, we have done this prior with a customer that had 200 segments.

Do be aware, as in the link I sent, that it might have performance implications.

Hi,

As every one said you can have maximum 11 segment on accounting structure.

Now if you have any specific requirement to use few ore dimensions specific to a range of main account, you can think of advance rules.
