Unable to open AX 2012 & unable to do CIL generation

Hi,

ISSUE 1

I tries to open AX 2012 and getting the below error "Cannot open the data file C:\Program Files\Microsoft Dynamics AX\60\Server\MicrosoftDynamicsAX\bin\Application\Appl\Standard\axapden-us.alt"

Error code from the operating system errno 13

ISSUE 2

I tries to do Full CIL. but getting error "Access to denied to the path or file C:\Program Files\Microsoft Dynamics AX\60\Server\MicrosoftDynamicsAX\bin\XppIL\xml.APPObjects1."

Steps I have taken.

1. Took back up deleted the alt and copied from another no gain. So reverted it. (I am getting this error only once while opening the AX when I restarted the service.)

2. Took back up deleted the dlls and other files in XPPIL, restarted the service no gain

I cant proceed with this issues. Kindly guide me.

Sounds like there is an account permission issue. You need to ensure the entire MicrosoftDynamicsAX and below has full permission for the AOS service account. This is the account that will manage these files.
